Jackie Rockwell is Assistant Director at Catamount Institute. Jackie was born and raised in Connecticut and lived and worked in the Boston area before moving to Colorado seven years ago. Her love for the natural environment and passion for sustainability has only grown since she moved to Colorado.

Before attending CU, Jackie worked for a communications consultancy where she managed sector development across the global offices. Prior to that she spent several years working for non-profit organizations and corporations allowing her to pursue varying interests, including office management, teaching and directing religious education programs, community organizing, and managing business development, to name a few. Jackie has traveled in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, including driving coast to coast in the United States, although her favorite place to be is anywhere outside with family.
Jackie lives in Monument, Colorado with her husband, Tom; cat, Lucy; and fish, Francisco. She has a daughter, Melissa, who attends school at Rutgers in New Jersey. Her favorite pastimes include hiking, biking, gardening, cooking for friends and family, volunteering, camping, playing the guitar, and working on ways to make the world a more sustainable place. |
