Laura Tuel, Director of Education
B.S. Allegheny College; J.D. West Virginia University, College of Law
Laura Tuel was raised in Pennsylvania and attended Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania and majored in Environmental Science. After her undergraduate degree, Laura obtained her law degree from West Virginia University, College of Law. Go mountaineers!
Laura has been involved in environmental education for over seven years. She was an intern for Creek Connections while she attended Allegheny College. Additionally, she designed and implemented an outdoor environmental education facility for a rural school in Pennsylvania.
Since moving to Colorado in 2006, Laura has worked for Cucullu & Associates, before taking her current position as Director of Education at Catamount Institute. Laura resides in Monument, Colorado with her husband, Alex, and her two pets, Atticus and Stone.
