Educating Children in Nature! This two-day workshop offers educators exciting new ways to create outdoor classrooms on their school grounds. Participants will learn effective and innovative methods for integrating environmental science, problem-solving, and science principles with cross-curricular subjects including math, history, and language arts.  Acquire 14 hours of Continuing Education!

2nd Annual Catamount On Tap Fundraiser - Fri, Oct 24th, @5:30pm - 08:30PM

Grab your pint glass and join us for the 2nd Annual Catamount "On Tap," a fundraiser benefiting Catamount Institute's mission to inspire ecological stewardship. Not only will your taste buds be rewarded with great food, beer and wine, but your eyes will be drawn to the cultural beauty that will surround you as Jacqueline Lundquist generously opens her specialty store, One World 2 U, to host Catamount "On Tap" for the second year in a row. (15% of store sales this weekend will also benefit Catamount Institute).

When: October 24 from
5:30 pm - 8:30pm
Venue: One World 2 U (New location!), 101 S. Sahwatch, Colorado Springs, CO (North of the west side of the Pikes Peak Center - on the corner of Colorado and Sahwatch)

Tickets: $35 per person

A live auction will provide adventurous opportunities for all our guests to support Catamount Institute. In addition, the 2008 Catamount Institute Founder’s Award will be presented to:

Catamount "On Tap" will feature some fine beer provided by Bristol Brewing Company and offer a diverse sampling of food from tasty eateries and caterers around town such as the Nosh, Picnic Basket, Adams Mountain Café, Garden of the Gods Gourmet, BBQ Mercantile and Ranch Foods Direct, The Wine Store, King Soopers, and Remember Us Catering. Additional entertainment will include a live auction, music by the WoodBones and an eye-catching gallery of Indian art and home furnishings.

  • Painting from Wrensong Studio by artist DK McDonald
  • Dinner for 12 at Colorado College's historic Stewart House hosted by CC President and former Ohio Governor, Richard Celeste and his wife, Jacqueline Lundquist
