The Catamount Institute conducts programs from the Beidleman Environmental Center in Sondermann Park on Colorado Springs' westside and from our Mountain Campus on the north slope of Pikes Peak.

 


 

To Beidleman Environmental Center (Catamount Institute's Colorado Springs office): 
740 W. Caramillo, Colorado Springs, CO  80907

 

From I-25, take the Uintah Street exit west. The first stop light is Walnut. Take Walnut Street north to Chestnut. Take Chestnut Street north to Caramillo (1 block). Turn west on Caramillo Street. The street dead ends into our parking lot.

To the Mountain Campus: 

3168 (Edlowe Rd) County Road 28, Woodland Park, CO  80863

 

From Colorado Springs and points east, take Highway 24 W ~20 miles through Woodland Park. Turn left onto County Road 28 (Edlowe Road), which is about 2.5 miles after the intersection for Hwy. 67 North.


From Divide and points west, take Highway 24 E ~5.5 miles from the Divide traffic signal and turn right onto County Road 28 (Edlowe Road).


From Edlowe turn-off:  Edlowe Road now has a marked turn lane that is directly across from Woodland West (marked by the large American flag). Follow County Road 28 for 3.2 miles to the entrance gate.  Proceed over the dam and past the caretakers home then park in the marked parking area.
