Catamount Institute at Sondermann Park

Our Location

Catamount Institute at Sondermann Park
Our main and most popular location is an oasis of wilderness tucked within the city limits of Colorado Springs.  Sondermann Park provides an outstanding opportunity for outdoor education with lush forests, mesa grasslands, abundant wildlife, and a healthy spring-fed creek. Catamount Institute is housed at Sondermann Park in the Beidleman Environmental Center. With an indoor classroom, restrooms, and picnic areas this is a prime location for your field trips. Easy access from I-25 and bus parking makes transportation easy and quick from anywhere in Colorado Springs.
